Olympus PEN emerging designers at the Clothes Show Live 2014

The Olympus PEN Designer Catwalk at the Clothes Show Live 2014, presented by journalist Hilary Alexander OBE, showcased some new looks from emerging designers in the UK.

Charlotte recently graduated from Birmingham City University where she studied Fashion Design. Her collection is inspired by the concept of de-individuation or losing of self-awareness in groups as shown through her masks and exaggerated shapes.

Gina Atkinson - OneVybe iPad photo
Gina Atkinson has graduated from The University of Westminster for womenswear fashion design. She had done previous internships at Tom Ford and Proenza Schouler New York. Her collection is based on black colours, abstract art, and the manipulation and scales of both screen and digital printing.

Grace Weller - OneVybe iPad photo
Grace Weller studied Fashion Design at Bath Spa University and her collection is inspired by the ideas and beliefs that went into 18th century romantic artwork. She is now studying a Masters in Fashion at Central Saint Martins.

Natasha Somerville - OneVybe iPad photo
Natasha studied at Central St Martins doing a BA in Womenswear design and received a 1:1 degree. Natasha was inspired by the Moire Phenomenon (a pattern formed by two sets of parallel lines). Natasha is now creating her own brand, Mormo, launching in February.

Daisy Jet Thornton graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a degree in fashion design. Daisy's inspiration was taken from religious concepts.
