Africa Fashion week London celebrating its 6th season in style!
Since debuting in 2011, this inspirational event has gone from strength to strength; championing new and emerging designers who are inspired by the rich culture of Africa and incorporate this heritage into their contemporary design.
It's not all about new designers; veterans of the AFWL shows will be gracing the catwalk again:
Mary Martin London is back and badder than ever. Her 'Cecil the Lion dress' stole the show last year.
Her 'fluffy' dresses have an injection of new badness for 2016. See what's been her inspiration this year.
South African Sherene Melinda will be showcasing her accessories again. It's difficult to forget favourite model Emeka on the catwalk with 2 handbags!
Victoria Grace returns. Last year she wowed with her classic designs harking back to the '70s.
Emerging designers AAugust are coming back. No longer emerging, but fully fledged and waiting to show us what they've been up to.
This year's Africa Fashion Week London will be at Olympia West Hall on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September 2016.
