Caesar Couture, established in 2000 by Nigerian designer Esosa Ogedegbe, popularly known as Caesar, has gained a reputation for its exquisite tailoring, which was clearly evident on the catwalk at the AFWL 2016.
The designs range from tuxedos, patterned suits, single breasted and double-breasted suits as well as traditional attire. The quality fabrics are sourced from Nigeria and other countries such as UK, Dubai and India.
Esosa founded Caesar Couture through love and passion for hand made, fitted clothing and he likes to be adventurous with his designs and not tie himself down to one look.
"The best thing about being a designer is that it gives room to be creative and one is able to express himself through it," he told OneVybe.
He added: "Great entrepreneurs around the world who started from zero and kept to their dream are my source of inspiration."
Caesar Couture presently caters to men of all ages, particularly those between 25 and 45, wanting tailor made suits for special events such as weddings. The label is complemented by a 'sister brand,' Caesar169, which specialises in the making of high quality shoes for men.
Caesar Couture recently released its SS16 collection and The Look Book, tagged 'Men of a Certain Age.' was inspired by the 1960s British look with check patterns and plaid fabrics.
'Men of a Certain Age,' consisting of three piece suits as well as the double breasted suits, is a mash up of the wedding and office look, which can be dressed down to a more casual look with jeans or sneakers.
The luxurious brand serves clients all over the world providing its service for bespoke tailoring but also has relatively affordable pieces. In the near future, Esosa also has plans to diversify Caesar Couture into female clothing.
