Fashion designer Tina Lobondi has achieved a lot since the launch of her fashion label in Notting Hill, London in 2011. In the time since, Tina has created a valuable brand with a social conscience and in 2016, she was contacted by the AFWL, inviting her to take part in their globally recognised annual event.

Through her contemporary womenswear designs, Tina combines African
prints with delicate French couture and she told OneVybe about how she
loves being able to follow her instinct and be experimental with the
fabrics and shapes.

She said "The best thing about designing is to see the finished product
come to life. The highlight was to finally meet and dress the actress
Thandie Newton. I made that wish 2 years ago when I saw her at an event
in London."
Tina has also worked with numerous artists including Grammy Award winner
and New York based singer Angelique Kidjo, London based singers Lianne
La Havas and X-Factor's Chloe-Jasmine Whichello and many others.
Tina Lobondi customers are women looking for a unique wardrobe with
timeless pieces and they can buy the clothes internationally via
selected exclusive boutiques, the brand's online shop. There is also a
VIP Club and a bespoke service for private clients.
Tina said: "A lot more fashion should be expected from the brand. We are
working on a few projects in Congo, especially for my association
ESIMBI."
ESIMBI is a non-profit social initiative to promote the Arts, Fashion
and Culture of Congolese origin through educational events,
apprenticeships and workshops for underprivileged children and
adolescents in Congo.
