LFWM: Oliver Spencer collection inspired by pared-back modern day menswear

During the LFWM, Oliver Spencer presented a collection with a 'Velvethead' twist, referencing the cultural roots of music and fashion.

The colour palette of autumnal, burnt orange and forest green were enhanced with contrasting tones of powder blue, blush pink and grey.

Blackwatch Plaid and clean wide horizontal zig-zag stripes played a role and were softened by deconstructed and washed fabrics including soft velvet, corduroy and wool with contrasting leather.

Oliver's signature cropped trousers were paired alongside new long-line jackets, roll neck jumpers, stacked sole plimsolls and oversized parka coats with a versatile ergonomic design, transforming from coat to rucksack for the wearer.

Key pieces in the collection include: Soft leather bombers with contrasting shearling, oversized parka coats and powder blue polo necks.

Oliver Spencer collaborated with 'Buy Now' platform Vero for the second time at the AW17 show on a specially designed umbrella available to purchase directly through Vero.

100% profits from the sales of the £145 umbrella go to Oliver's chosen charity Shine Cancer Support. It is the only charity in the UK exclusively focused on supporting adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s who have experienced a cancer diagnosis.
