UK based actress, model and talk show host, Ntombi Shibambo, aims to help others having achieved success in acting, modelling and TV presenting.
She helps upcoming talent showcase their work through her talk show 'In The Spotlight.'
Ntombi explains to OneVybe why she decided to embark on the project saying, "When I started my modelling career I found it hard to get the exposure I needed in order for me to 'grow' in the industry. I wanted to be spotted or guided in the right direction but found it a challenge.
"Not saying I'm a successful model as such, but I've made a lot of steps and shot with amazing photographers.
"I now wanted to start a show where other models, actors or anyone who is trying to make it and wants the exposure could have an interview on what they do and so 'In The Spotlight' was born."

Ntombi has faced a few challenges along the way and these include empty
promises by promoters when it came to interviewing artists such as
Mafikizolo and Wizkid.
She says: "My camera guy [would have]
cancelled all his plans in order to shoot the interview and when the day
comes my calls are ignored.
"Such things are a let down and I get an emotion of defeat but I never give up. I always push and I will keep doing so.
"When
trying to juggle everything in one, it can be very challenging as I'm
also a mother to a demanding five-year-old princess.
"I have to
be very organised and prepared for any task and with the help of my
loving partner and beautiful sister who are so supportive and help me
whichever way they can, I juggle on and hustle my way up. Not forgetting
my very best friend who is always there Angeline Lewis"
Ntombi started acting after she had won the 'Miss Diversity 2013' beauty pageant.

"I was offered a part and was very excited as I always wanted to try out acting.
"From
then on I got even more motivated by the feedback from the director
himself and so I started looking for more acting jobs.
"Last year I shot a short film '
Siriously Subconscious' which made it to the Film Festivals.
The

Her
success with 'Miss Diversity 2013' also propelled Ntombi to help people
in need. She works with a charity based in Zimbabwe called 'Maranatha
Opharns Care Trust.'
She says "We collect clothes, kids toys,
books etc and send them to the care. We are looking at visiting
Maranatha often and with the help of everyone who has been donating, it
will make a great difference to many children, which is our mission.
Miss
Diversity is also running a charity called '
Pads for Princess' where
they work on collecting sanitary towels for women in less fortunate
positions.
"It's hard enough not being able to feed your family but women face difficulties when it comes to 'the time of the month.'
"With
the help of people who have been donating we have collected a huge
amount of towels which will be a relief and great help to many women."
