Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani dies

Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani passed away in Milan on Thursday after a year-long illness aged 66.
Sozzani was the recipient of the
Swarovski Award for Positive Change at the BFC's 2016 Fashion Awards.
Born in Mantua, Italy, Sozzani studied Philosophy and Germanic Literature at university. She was known for her philanthropic work and was a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations.
In a tribute published on the American Vogue website, Wintour describes her as 'the hardest-working person I have known, and with an envy-inducing ease with multitasking'.
A post on Marc Jacobs' Instagram reads: 'Her incredible contribution to fashion will be missed.'
