Sound Knock Down releases new music video

Sound Knock Down (SKD), real name Martins Okuonghae, is an African Artist with Ghanaian and Nigerian roots and has come out with a new music video titled "Turn You On" from his second album entitled "Celebration" which was released on the 30th of November 2013.
SKD's first album, entitled "Passion Beyond Reason" was released in 2012 after he burst onto the music scene in 2011.
The singer and founder of Safari Sound Recordings says he is happy that through technology, he is able to share his music easily with his fans.
SKD was born and grew up in Nigeria and has a degree in Financial Services and in an interview, he says he was he grew up in a home that was heavily influenced by music.
His mum used to sing and record on a cassette player at home and over the years his father built up a great collection of records including artists such as Sir Victor Uwaifo, Osayomore Joseph, Akaba Man, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Lucky Dube, Jackson 5, and Alpha Blondy.
As a result, SKD, acquired a varied taste in music and grew up listening to hip hop artists like 2 pac, DMX, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, BIG and some of the ones his father liked listening to.
SKD, who is based in the UK and The Republic of Ireland says he considers himself an African artist and would like to work with Ghanaian musicians like Sarkodie and R2Bees.
Asked how he got his name Sound Knock Down, SKD says it because of the way he delivered his vocals – "on every track I make sure I knock down the sound with my vocals," he said.
