Earth Fest Returns to Livingstone with Internationally Acclaimed Live Acts
The Earth Fest weekend opened on Friday 27 June at 1800hrs with a night of traditional dancers, drumming, and DJs under the stars in the Greenpop Village at Livingstone Guest Farm.

Earth Fest is a music and sustainability festival that aims to bring people together from around southern Africa and the globe to enjoy exceptional live music and DJs and celebrate our continent – near to one of the world's greatest natural wonders, the Victoria Falls.

Launched in 2013 as part of Greenpop’s Trees for Zambia project, Earth Fest is now an integral and recurring part of this Festival of Action.

Greenpop's mission is to reconnect people with the planet and this year they are planting 4000 trees at their Trees for Zambia project.

Earth Fest aims to highlight southern Africa's musical talent while also bringing together like-minded, forward-thinking individuals who hope to see a greener future for Africa.

Through Earth Fest, people can have the time of their lives while working to promote the sustainability of the planet.

The lineup included the Chikenbus Band (Zimbabwe), DJ Claudous (Zambia), and Grassy Spark (South Africa).

South African musician Jeremy Loops, a rising global star and one of the organisation's directors,  treated the crowd to a few songs.

Jeremy Loops said "Being in Zambia and having had time to visit the various sites where we've planted trees over the last few years - and of course, getting the chance to play music and add to the magic - is really something special for me. I cannot wait to be in Livingstone again, and to play at Earth Fest once more!”
