The future looks great for 24-year-old Bre Musiq who is currently writing some material, which he hopes to take in to a studio after he wowed the UK X Factor judges, including Simon Cowell, with his audition.
The UK-based, Bulawayo-born singer performed Blackstreet's 'No Diggity' and managed to get 4 votes from Cowell, Girls Aloud singer, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, former Spice Girls singer, Melanie Brown, and Louis Walsh.
In an interview with OneVybe, he said, "the X factor experience has been great so far, the people there and the talents that these people have is amazing.
"Strangely, I'm getting a lot of feed back on my own music, it's a great feeling knowing that someone somewhere is loving your music."

As a child, Bre says he saw himself as a businessman but music grew on him and from the age of 9 he pursued his passion.
"I never looked back since. When you know you know, I just love music, so that keeps me going.
"The fact that it heals made me go for it more. My music tells stories, that's the type of musician I want to be."

Back in 2004, Bre formed a band, 'Yongrydaz' with his cousin and brothers and they wrote their own songs. Ten
years later, Bre is self taught in many instruments including the
keyboard, drums and guitar. Laughing, he said, "All self taught so I
would call myself a professional in any of those departments, I'm
bedroom taught."
To top it all off, he has worked with and
supported many great artists. He said "I've supported quite a number of people
but Tinie Tempah left a mark, I envy his work ethic, he works hard and
isn't afraid to take risks. That to me is nothing but great."
