Artist Alex Chinneck creates 'floating building'

Artist Alex Chinneck has created the work called 'Take my Lightning but Don't steal my Thunder.'

It is a 12-metre-long sculpture which Mr Chinneck made appear to float by using a counterweights which support the top half of the structure.

A steel beam is hidden at the side of the structure which is attached to a steel platform, helping to support the illusion.

The illusion will be on display in Covent garden in London until October 24.
