Hey fabulous people....Hope you had a great week living your purpose. So this week, I wanted to write about loving your skin, by looking after it. Especially in the winter months....your skin requires extra loving...
1)Drink a lot of water, keep hydrated......the more water you drink, the more your skin will thank you for it! Remember you only have the skin you have, nourish it.
2)Wash your face at least twice a day. Never sleep with your make up on, keep your face clean.
3) Invest in good skin care products, especially a good moisturiser. As most people do not use a moisturiser, in the harsh winter months, not using one can actually cause you to develop a very oily skin. Look out for the post on skin care product reviews.
4)Change your pillowcase weekly and use a fresh towel daily to avoid contaminating your face.
5)Avoid your hair products getting into your skin, as all those oils, will clog up your pores.
6)Do treat yourself to a facial at least once a week.
Eating for your skin
DIY HOMEMADE LOVING ON YOUR SKIN RECIPESBrightening your skin facial2 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar/lemon juice
Mix and apply to your cleansed face and leave on your mixture for 20 mins rinse with tepid water followed by a cool (not cold) rinse. Twice a week....
Face Mask honey scrub
3 tbsp oats (ground up finely in a blender)
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp coconut oil mix till its a thick sticky mixture rub it on your face and leave it on for 5-10 mins and then give yourself one last scrub before you wash it off.....
