Rolling Stones' EXHIBITIONISM from 5th April 2016
Published: 14 March 2016 | by Saatchi Gallery
The Rolling Stones will stage their first ever major exhibition in London at the Saatchi Gallery from 5th April 2016.
EXHIBITIONISM, delivered by DHL, will be the most comprehensive and immersive insight into a group described by critics as The Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band, taking over nine thematic galleries spread across the two floors of the Gallery.
As well as over five hundred Rolling Stones important and unseen artefacts from the band’s personal archives, it will take you through their fascinating fifty-year history, embracing all aspects of art & design, film, video, fashion, performance, rare sound archives, and of course, at the heart of it, the Stones' musical heritage that took them from a hard working London blues band in the early 1960s, to inspirational cultural icons adored by millions.
London is the birthplace of the band and home to many key locations in their incredible history – such as the apartment on Edith Grove in Chelsea, where Mick, Keith and Brian first lived together in 1963.
Tickets for the exhibition are on sale now and available to book online here. You can also book in person at the visitor reception of the Gallery, or on the phone by calling Ticketmaster on 0844 453 9020.
Exclusive VIP passes are also available, including two separate visits to the exhibition, queue jump and a souvenir lanyard.
